Your new mom bestie & photographer

With over 20 years of experience photographing maternity photos, newborns and families, I’ve photographed hundreds and hundreds of babies and families in the Bucks County Area.

My favorite part might be watching all those babies grow up. I seem to become an honorary family member to so many of my wonderland families, who return year after year, trusting me to document their family as they grow.

This is a pretty cool job, I still kind of pinch myself once in a while. I love whites, creams and soft neutrals, but also the occasional pop of color in my work. I also strive to capture expressions and details others might miss. I work with simple props, nothing too busy, I don’t want to distract from the connection of you and your new baby.

I take great pride in my ability to create a comfortable, safe and relaxed environment here in the studio as well as when I photograph in a client’s home. In fact so relaxed, I’ve had client’s fall asleep while I’m working with the baby.

Why is a family wall so important?

Studies have shown that having printed photos hanging in your home is good for a child’s self esteem and helps them feel part of the family unit. It reinforces that they are loved and cherished. You can check out an article on it here.

Plus, I know as a Mom, on the hard parenting days it helps to look at those pictures and remember why I’m trying so hard to make my son a good man.

Booking Fees

Booking fees cover the time and talent of your photographer during your session and while editing your session, but mainly they hold your date and time. Booking fees do not include files or products, please see packages below.

  • 45 Minute sessions

    • Studio - $125

    • Outdoor or On Location - $175

  • Photographed Mon-Fri between 10-14 days of age. 10am-1pm will be blocked off in my calendar for you. Depending on the baby we may use all 3 hours, but very often we are done sooner.

Packages

As a Mom I know how hard it is to choose just a few images to download, which is why I never make my clients do that! I Include all the final edited images as digital downloads with both of my package options. Yes I said “Both”, I only have 2 options because I like to keep it simple sister!

Packages are purchased from each session, not sessions combined, But if you would like to upgrade your album from one session to include both your Maternity and Newborn Session that is perfectly fine. Upgrading the album would involve adding additional pages to accomidate more images.

  • All of your final digital images from your session, as download from an online gallery. You are able to print from these images as many times as you want up to a size 8x10.

    I generally have about 40-50 Images in the final gallery.

    To put it simply, when you purchase a qualifying wall art or album, you get a discount on the digitals.

    So for example:

    8x8 Album - $350

    CYOC Digital download- $300

Mid Year Sitting Session

  • Mid-Year or a Sitter session is the perfect time to photograph your child again after their newborn session. They change SO Fast in that first year you won’t believe it till you look back at the pictures. Mid-Years are some of my favorite sessions because they are still chubby babies with toothless grins but now they can sit up independently and are much more interactive and love being able to see the world around them. It’s the perfect time to capture them playing with their feet, sitting up and tummy poses. These sessions generally take place between 6-9 months of age once your child has truly mastered sitting on their own and last about 45-60 minutes.

1st Birthday Cake Smash Session

  • Congratulations Mama & Papa, You’ve made it through the first year of parenthood! First birthdays aren’t just a celebration of our little babies turinging into toddlers but a celebration of the completion of the first of many years of parenting. Mom & Dad are welcome to grab a few family images with their little one during their first birthday shoot. The Majority of the session will focus on their baby and may include a cake smash if you choose. At this time I require client’s to bring their own pre-ordered custom cakes, if they choose this option, I can advise you on colors and styles. If you choose to forgo the cake smash the session length is still the same 45-60 minutes, I of course allow outfit changes during that time. I generally suggest no more than 2-3 outfits as children this age can sometimes get annoyed with too many wardrobe changes.

Family Session

  • By now you have a full blown toddler on your hands, they are silly, fun, and full of life. This is one of the best times for a family portrait session. Your little one is truly out of the baby stage and showing more and more personality everyday. It’s because of these little personalities that I enjoy photographing family sessions for this age range, we can get so many fun playful and sometimes on the go images during these sessions. Most of my Family session clients choose to invest in custom wall art or albums from these sessions to showcase all the fun images we’ve created.

FAQ

  • I Always suggest booking early when it comes to both Maternity and Newborn sessions. With an Outdoor Maternity session we may impacted by weather and have to adjust the date of our session, You would want to leave enough wiggle room before your due date just in case. So a Good rule of thumb is when you are showing but not too uncomfortable, between the 30th and 35th week. So reach out at least a month in advance if you have a certain date in mind.

    With Newborn You would reach out while you are still Pregnant ideally. Usually after the 20th week most women are comfortable making the booking. Once your on the calendar it’s one less thing you will have to remember to do before baby arrives!

  • With my style of photography I always suggest light colors, textures and patterns. When we are trying to show off the bump I do suggest avoiding black, as it does camouflage the baby bump. I’ve put together a List of some great maternity Options available on amazon : Here

    The same guidelines apply for the newborn session, go for lighter colors and small patterns. Simple is always better to keep your portraits as timeless as possible.

  • Honestly, it’s just about efficiency.

    A 15 minute phone call can get more done than an email chain that can go back and forth for weeks. We all know life happens and I’d hate for you to miss out on your preferred date or time because someone else beat you to it or one of my emails to you mistakenly went to your spam folder for some crazy reason.

  • A View and Order call is a Video Conference when you will first see your portraits. You will also place the order for your portraits at this time as well. During this call I can show you what different portraits and sizes look like on your own walls. We can also mark your favorite images if you are planning to purchase an album of your images.

    The View and Order Call generallt takes around 30-40 minutes depending on what you’d like to order or design. I usually find most of my clients already know what they want, in this case it only takes about 15-20 minutes to complete the ordering process.

    I have found that this is one of the most efficient and convenient ways for clients to place orders, since I can answer their questions right away and they never have to leave the comfort of their own homes.

    Clients Love the ease of the process, as I’m simply taking your order and helping you to decide. I will point out differences in products or portraits but never apply high pressure sales techniques, I’m here to help you not sell to you.
